Help BB 8520

Hello@all,

my english is not so good but i hope everybody understand me.

I have a new BB 8520 with the Firmware 4.6.1. I´ve download Logicmail Version 4.6.or higher and i have a problem.

I can read and download my e-mails but not answer. Logicmail not saving my settings in the outgoing server. When i push on save logicmail shows not reaction when i push on discard then logicmail works and get back to menu. Know someone the problem or have somebody an answer for me?

    You most likely forgot to enter something on that configuration screen.

      Okay, someone else mentioned a similar issue, and actually told me what they were running. I haven't seen this before myself, so I'll have to investigate.

      There is no such thing as "LogicMail Version 4.6". What I am guessing that you are running is the "Latest unsupported development build for BlackBerry OS 4.6"

      The release version (1.1) and the development version (1.9.1.xyz) are very different at this point, and you have to tell me which specific version/build you are running, or the issue report is useless.

          Hello thanks for your help.

          Sorry for the small informations. I have a BB 8520 with firmware 4.6.1 and i use Logicmail 1.9.11.59. Befor i used 1.1.0 with no problems, but i need the thml view.

          Yesterday i have do a Phone-reset, then i have configurated my tcp settings. Now i have download again Logicmail 1.9.11.59 and I filled each field.

          By the first configuration Logicmail saved my smtp setting and i can see the settings in the outgoing server, but the button compose e-mail is not there.

          When i go out from Logicmail and run it again, then the setting are lost and i have the problem that Logicmail let me not saving the settings in the outgoing server. When i put on the BB-Menu in the outgoing server then i can see Save,Discard,Abort but nothing happens by pushing on save only by discard or abort.

          I hope this are enough informations and you understand my english.

            i forgot a little thing that struck me by the first installation screen. At the input from my smtp settings i push on further but nothing happens only when i push again on further then the screen goes to the next cofiguration screen.

              I fixed it last night (ticket #180), a few hours before you wrote these posts. Build 1.9.1.160 should have it fixed.

                Thanks for everthing,

                i´ve download the Version 1.9.11.60 and now i can save the outgoing setting but not compose a new email. Then i have do again a phone reset and download 1.9.11.60 now everthing works.

                When i create a new email and send it to my second mail account then the mail goes to the local folder in the OUTBOX and i become the message INDEX 2>=2.

                The remarkable fact is that the message is send and i can read it on my other e-mail account.

                I hope you understand my declaration.
